Festival Dining 2026

The South Bank Seafood Festival
Starts at Your Table

While the festival celebrates Queensland's seafood culture from the parklands, Sage Yellowfin brings it to your plate — the full story, from named supplier to finished dish. We source daily from Queensland waters: Moreton Bay bugs from the bay, Mooloolaba king prawns, Hervey Bay scallops and fresh oysters shucked to order.

Festival weekend, 30–31 May 2026, we run three dedicated dining options designed around the celebration. Tiered to suit every group — from a relaxed tasting menu to our full provenance feast with matched bubbles.

Tables are limited on festival weekend. We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance. Once full, we cannot accommodate walk-ins for the tasting menu.

Queensland Provenance

We Know Where Your Seafood Comes From

RQF serves seafood. Sage Yellowfin serves a story. Every dish on our festival menu comes with a named Queensland source — the bay, the waterway, the fishery. This is what provenance-led dining looks like in South Bank.

🦞
Moreton Bay Bugs
Queensland's signature crustacean — sweet, tender, grilled with herb butter. Sourced daily from Moreton Bay waters. The centrepiece of every serious Queensland seafood experience.
🦐
Mooloolaba King Prawns
Char-grilled Queensland king prawns from the Mooloolaba fleet — North Queensland's finest. Served with Sage Yellowfin's signature smoked mango salsa. A festival crowd favourite.
🪸
Hervey Bay Scallops
Seared in-shell scallops from Queensland's Hervey Bay — delicate, seasonal, extraordinary. Ask about tonight's availability. Limited quantities daily.
🦀
Sand Crab Lasagna
Sage Yellowfin's most-praised dish. Queensland sand crab, layered with fresh pasta and a bisque sauce. Named in over 40 Google reviews. A reason to come on its own.
🦪
Hand-Shucked Oysters
Shucked fresh daily — served natural with mignonette or Kilpatrick. Every Monday: 50% off all oysters. Festival weekend: add a dozen to your platter for the full experience.
🐟
Market Fish of the Day
Whatever arrived fresh that morning — whole or filleted, served your way. The daily fish changes with Queensland's seasons. Ask your server what's on today.
